IIGHT SO I PUT A D16Y8 IN MY EG USED ALL THE OBD1 ELectronics from my old motor except the dizzy.. while atempting to wire up my obd2b dizzy i threw a code for ckp. when i wired up the ckp correctly the car wouldnt start. so after i got extremly frustrated a friend told me that i could have used my obd1 dx dizzy .. so i gave it a try. i put cly 1 at tdc useing the big screw driver in the spark plug whole trick . it took me about 20 ****** tries. i pull the y8 dizzy out and replaced it with my dx one everything bolted up fine but now my car wont start.. wtf!? and to top it all off i pulled off my dizzy and my cam was ****** broken right where the dizzy and the cam lock up ( in the little slit)i dont know if i broke it or if it was already broken i dont rembe it being broken tho but i also did eveything in almost comlete dark i did it in my drive way with only light coing from my garage.. and i have ****** a boat load of gas in my oil.. my hypotesis is the from all the turning over i did i flooded the motor cuz i forgot to pull out my fuel line.. but the broken cam and the not starting motor wtf am i to do?? anyone have an idea of what happened to the cam,ignition and oil/ im stumped
