Default changing ecu??

Ok ive been searching but cannot find what I am looking for. Is there another ecu that will go into my 88 crx si that will give me more power or do I have to get my pm6 chipped?
All help is appreciated.

i dont know which ecu can give you some extra performance, but i am sure that all honda ecu can work on all honda provided with some mods with dizzy,,.

Get your PM6 chipped or find a 90-91 PM6 ECU.

most wont touch a 88 pm6 cause it doesnt have external eprom like 90-91...But why bother? unless you have built motor ,,just leave it stock. cause playing with it will only hurt performance
