AM I SCREWED ????
I recently had a problem with my EACV (code 14 from ECU) on my Stock DX. When I troubleshot; I found that the reason I was getting that error code from my ECU is because I have an open somewhere from fuse 14 to my EACV. Is there any specific wire harness that I can replace to eliminate the open or short? (ex. Main wiring harness) Will that fix my problem or am I screwed?
is the open circuit in the engine harness or the chassis harness? worst case scenario just run a new wire from fuse 14 to the eacv. why replace the whole harness when you can just run one new wire?

Well all my wiring is stock and the EACV has a two terminal connector that is connected to a wiring harness but I am not sure if it is called the "main wiring harness" I would also have to loacte "fuse 14" thats what the book I bought referred to it as, but it doesn't show location. I am guessing that its fuse 14 under the steering wheel. but there are 2 sides to every fuse. So lots of confusion either way.

Try replacing it first, or cleaning it, if that doesn't solve the code and there is actually a "open" in the wire somewhere, which there shouldn't be since nobody touched anything internal with your car unless they are a dumbass and not know better which i hope not, but anyways it's most likely your engine harness.
If you really just have to change your harness, and your actual engine harness is shitty and all cut up, then just find a local junkyard with a model like your car with the EXACT year, it has to be the EXACT year AND model, but yeah either you or someone that owned the car before you cut that wire on the engine harness out in the bay under the hood, who knows, they might of not cut it and it just got snagged on something and popped out of the sensor, repin it.

Thanks Contender and yes I have replaced the EACV...The car runs fine now but still has a code 14 so thats when I went into the flow charts and found that the error was an open/short in my line.
