Hi, I feel like I am banging my head on a brick wall! My car will not start at all. She turns over but wont fire up. I even had a mobile auto electrician look at it and he told me it was the Amplifier was packing up. Bought a new amplifier but stoill wont fire up. First of all before the non-starting problems she had a misfire. I parked her up the other night ready to sort out as I had a week off but the next morning she will not start. My timing is spot on! Cylinder 1,2 and 4 are 150ish but Cylinder 3 is 90-100. Could this be the problem? Please help!!!

 

HmM>. I figure :

1. ignition coil gone out? get a new one, or MSD.
2. Starter...have it checked.
3. Ignition Switch.

Post me back with what happens, after you turn on the ignition. (after you try to start and the sound it makes)

 

Hi, I have put a brand new Ignition Coil on it with a clear distrubutor before when I had the misfire but it didn't solve it. I did run though! When I turn the engine/crank her up you get that starting sound and a cough and a splutter which reapeat it's self.
