Default H22A with a B16 tranny?

i hear that u can put a b16 tranny on the h22 engine is this posible

it will fit if you buy a h2b adapter plate, and its quicker in a 1/4 miles with like a itr or ctr trans i forget, but somone on hear lost half a second with some b series tranny on his h22. search for h2b

U can only put a b series tranny on an h series motor IF u buy the H2B kit which is only used for integras and civic with h22's in them, as far as I know they don't work with preludes, besides the h22 doesn't need a b16 tranny if u're ganna do everyday driving, it's only for drag racing. My bro's b16 del sol is always above 4000 rpms on the highway, it's geared alot higher cause it doesn't have as much torque like the h22 or h23.

get a different FD. which are readily available for h series trannies

the euro r tranny is a m2b4 with slightly shorter gears if im not mistaken.

I bought the M-Factory FD but due to other probs I havent got to drive it much more than a few miles. Goin to the track tonight though if things work out.

the FAQ thread at the top lists teh tranny codes and their gearing and even gives info on what they came from, and the m2b4 is not a euro-r tranny its a prelude trans with lsd.

yes you can only use the b series tranny with the h series motor in the civics/integras etc...Which blows cuz I had a b16 tranny...
