Default Insurance question

I currently own an 05 TSX in a manual with navigation and I really love the looks of the new si. My question is what kind of rates are you guys paying per year? My tsx runs me a little over $1000 a year.

I get raped on insurance, but I'm use to it by now.

20 yrs old, one wreckless driving ticket $200/ month full coverage - $500 deduct. Progressive. If I were to have bought an 00 ITR I would have been paying $500/month ! one of the main reasons I went with the FG2

Damn...you guys have some high rates. I am 19 today, have a couple tickets but no points, and I pay about $115 every month. My original quote was about $4000 a year, but I have a 94 civic that I will never drive (beater) and my insurance lady put them both on my policy and made my si a "pleasure" vehicle. I told her that I am driving my Si every day which will equate to a lot of miles and she said that was fine. She is a nice lady and I personally know her, so she is helping me out.

Girls = if you're 21 or older and you have a perfect record + take a defensive driving course + defensive course for females only, insurance companies will start lowering the insurance rate by sometimes 75%. Some get even a lower rate than 75% of the original.
Guys = they will lower your insurance rate if you're 25+ or if you're 21 but married.
If you're young, insurance rates depends on where you live, what type of car you're driving(sedans = cheap on insurance), record doesnt matter that much.
If you're 25+ and have a clean record, then insurance will be lowered.

Got it?

If it is the worst place to own a car, why not move. Seriously, that is alot to pay. When you get to 25 and your record is a little cleaner, the insurance will drop. Make sure you call around for several quotes because I found that my company at the time, didn't give me any breaks. So I told them what another company quoted me and they said they could not match it. I cancelled it in a heartbeat.

OUCH. That hurts, I've got 2 tickets, and 1 warning since I started driving, and even 2 windsheild claims (yes, those raised my rates) and a parking lot claim (that did too, stupid SOB wouldn't pay) on other cars, I'm 25 m and my rates are 1200/year on the SI. And I think that's high...

My S costs me less, but I've had it since June 05 and it has <6000 on the clock, so its limited use...
