fuel pump going out on crx.... inline or intake replacement?

fuel pump going out on crx.... inline or intake replacement?
just wanted some ideas from others on this. my intank unit is only allowing me to use 4.8 gallons of fuel and then pretends to "die" and run out of gas. thanks for any info.
