On my 99 Si Em1, I've noticed lots of noise coming from the front drivers side axle/transmission area.
It sounds like the axle is clicking. The noise occurs when I go into 1st, release the clutch and begin to move. 1 click. Then, once I go into 1st gear and begin to drive, the axle clicks again and my wheels jerk.
It also makes the clicking noise when the nose of the car dives down from a high rpm downgear or just when you stab at the gas and make the car jerk.

There is a strong vibration also when I accell the car.

 

sounds like it could be a motor mount
maybe the rear one

 

get under the car and check the axles and the rear motor mount
