does the ek9 mugen intake fit an eg?

i tried test fitting the ek9 mugen intake on my eg today, it looks like intake will hit the hood. has anybody had luck installing this intake in an eg?

Yes it should fit. All though there is a difference in the size of the two cars i have two hoods for my eg and it fits my friends ek so there is not any sifference in the size of the two front ends. The engine bay is also the same, there is the same amount of room. If the intake is hits the hood then you may have just improperly installed it. As for selling it, that is exactly what you should do. The is all just a name. There are only some things you buy with a big name on it and an intake is not one of those things. I used to have a B18C5 spoon motor and I had a cheap aerospeed intake on it and I ran fine.
