Ok, so i just bought a 00 Civic 2dr. for $2500....its has 42k on the body, no motor, i put a B16 in it.....interior is Spotless......BUT, the ENTIRE car is rattle can primer, lol....which doesnt bother me much, i paint cars, but the only prob. is that the previous retard didnt know what tape and paper are...therefore all the black trim moldings around the windows are all grey. I've never tried to paint these before, but do any of you know if these can be spraypainted trim black? Or how much am i looking at shelling out for all new ones? Pics of the car hopefully tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

just paint the trim with black trim paint.

 

paint it black, or buy new molding.

 

Wetsand them with 400 grit, and spray paint with a flat black. Or, paint them with your ordinary HVLP gun with the same color as the car.

Or be real cool like I am and leave the moldings off, and weld the clip holes shut
