maintence light

Default maintence light

the maintence light came up on my 2006 civic ex, and i changed the oil and everything but im stumped as to how to get the light to go away. anyone know?

One word: Manual.

Honda gives it to you for a reason. Read it, you'll learn a lot about your car.

Did you remember to disconnect the negative when you changed your oil? try that it should go away.

for the si, i believe you went to the oil indactor thing and held the select button in. but it has been some time since i changed my oil. It is about due in about a week or so, depends on how much driving I do this week .
