I would imagine its should be similar to my integra sedan. You have to pop ur trunk. Looking from the trunk, there should be 3 or 4 phillips screws (gold color) that screws up to the speaker grills. Once the grill comes off, you should be able to get to the speakers from the top.

Im 99% sure civics are the same way. Hope it helps

I posted before about the noisy trunk on my 4 door 98 civic ex. Well it's the body, i think! I took off the rear dash board (it was a bitch), it was held by plastic thingy's but i got that out, i thought it was the belt wind up thing on the right rear side, but that wasn't it. It's something around that area. I have this squeek metal noise for about a week now and I hate it! It just annoys me cause i want my car to run quiet. Does anyone know what could have gotten loose there that might be making that annoying little sound?!
