I am having some trouble with my avic n2's parking brake wire it tells me that it is not connected properly?I have tried grounding it and I have tried giving it a constant 12 volts?Thanksfor the help
The parking brake input wire needs to see a ground when the parking brake is on.
You do know there is a sequence to getting the video to work when watching DVDs....
1- Step on foot brake, and hold it.
2- Set park brake.
3- Release park brake.
4- Set park brake again.
5- Release foot brake
Try that and see what happens.

I knew about the parking brake having to be activated three times but how does the pioneer see you activate the standard brake?

hey fcm those are directions for alpine, good looking out though. every pioneer we install at work says that when you first put them in. i dont know how long it takes but they eventually stop doing it, its like they have to learn your park brake usage. i dunno weird , give it a couple weeks though.
