Lower rear control arms and sway bar questions...
To put a blox rear lower sway bar and blox lower control arms on my em1 along with stock suspension, would this all be ok? Or is it something that should be done along with lowering springs and other suspension components? I dont know a whole lot about suspension. And also, if anyone has any pictures of aftermarket control arms and the strut bars installed, please post them.
ok so you want to put on aftermarket lower control arms and a sway bar?
How thick is the sway bar? if it is thicker then the chassis can deal with, after a few months or a year it will rip-out your subframe.
Realistically, if your not into 'bling/shiney' parts...get the ASR subframe kit with a nice swaybar and keep your factory lower control arms.
Installing springs/shocks is a good idea to but depends what you want from the car.
Do you want to be really low? low enough for function/track purpose? lower then stock to get rid of the wheel gap?
You might want to look into a nice shock/spring combo or a coilover setup to give you the adjustability of changing your car's height depending on your wants.
