Going to the strip Saturday. Tips and Suggestions?
Well, I finally got my car together the way I want it. (Check project thread in sig for details.)
I'm taking it to a test and tune this saturday and just wanted to know the ins and outs of drag racing.
Anything I should do before I go? And, once I get there, what should I start practicing on? How should I launch (Shitty street tires), any tips on staging or cooling down or anything?

well if you are on street tires, preloading wont help you. youll spin too much. you will need to slide it out. feather between 3-4k and slide the clutch out of the hole.

So keep the rpms up but slip the clutch out slowly so I don't break traction?
So basically I need to find a balance between letting it out quickly and breaking traction?
