You can get an intake for a LS integra but I would suggest getting one from a Type R.

because typically, the piping on the itr (type r) intake is larger in diameter, which means better/more air flow

If you are going to modify the breathing characteristics of your engine setup, you might as well go bigger.

The typical off the shelf models for the base model, LS, Integra applications feature 2.5 inch diameters.

Example: AEM

However, if a person wants to buy a generic intake such as the ones found on ebay, those typically are all 3 inch.

I wanted to know cause the gsr stock manifold is angled differently, the skunk is more similar to type r intake manifold so i was thinking order a type R intake.

its angled the same as an LS intake manifold as well...Whichever you can get cheaper go with...same diameter ls and same diameter type r..i dunno something tells me ppl will hike prices up just because its for the hype r..and some ricer will feed into it

LS diameter is NOT the same as Type R.

You can, but it's meant for the Type R application.

As I stated before, branded intakes for LS application typically are 2.5 inch in diameter.

OP: You can buy a 3 inch diameter ls intake...in all likelihood it might even be cheaper than the type r...but like i said go with whatever is cheaper

Just get what you want.

I highly suggest AEM or Comptech Icebox.

Completely different sound. The comptech sounds like your stock intake with the resonator removed. A lot more quite compared to the AEM.

here...

http://www.ebay.com

look up LS intake and 3inch piping.

$40shipped tops.

you wont find a ebayDM ITR intake... i looked myself. u can only find AEM and other name brand.

thats if u want the bang for ur buck way to do it. my AEM GSR CAI fits my skunk2 IM just fine.

you could but it doesnt look right nor fit 100% perfectly. Some people have had their gsr intake hit or rub against the hood while its shut.

it does look a little odd, but the only thing i had rubbing against my hood was the OEM GSR throttle cable bracket.
