Default Is there a way to tell the difference between 88 tranny and 89-91??

Like the title states. I have a d16a6 swap in a HF I got and the head stamp says its an 88 but i'm not positive if teh tranny is from an 88 or if its 89-91. The plate is still on the tranny is there any number codes that would give away if its an 88 or if its 89-91??

Need to know asap selling swap and the guy needs a clutch.

Look at the input shaft. 88 will have 21 splines, 89-91 will have 20.
