Ok, so my ITR now has a little over 90,000 miles on it and the front lip on my PY ITR is a bit banged up, and the front bumper has quite a few dings in it as well, and the paint has faded from the rest of the car.

I was considering getting it sanded down and repainted laser matched to the rest of the car at this Maaco up the street they said it would cost roughly $300 - $400 and they would use OEM specification paint with clear coat and I'll never be able to tell it was repainted.

Here's my question. Will this paint be as good and last as long and wax as well as the OEM paint? Also, if I run a bra (OEM type R bra to be exact) whats the side effects to the paint on the front bumper? A lot of folks say that it too will fade the paint from the heat. So what's the best way to protecting the front end of my car?

What I want is a beautifully yellow front end that will match the rest of the car, and that I can protect and keep happy without fear of it getting dinged again! (Or fading)

Anyone please reply with any knowledge you have of repainting just the front bumper, and the side effects of using a bra and any other useful bit of knowledge you may have to help me decide if I want to do this or not!
