battery question

Default battery question

do u all think its a good idea to move the battery to the back of the car i have a 90 crx

its to adjust weight and get a smaller battery that dont way as much...if your planning on doing an engine swap go ahead and do it

what if i already have the swap would i have to get some longer cables and a battery braket for the back and where can i run the wire thru wheres the easiest to to pass it thru

because it is in the way of my intake and its a c/a/i so the battery is in the way and everything is all tight in that spot

well you could put it in the back but it would be easier to buy a smaller battery and lay it on its side.

the battery i have right now is the stock little one that comes in the crx's can they get any smaller than that

do a little search on HT. people are now making brackets so that it basically fits right underneath were you battery is now. i just think that keeping it under the hood is a better idea. then you don't have to worry about securing it down, length of wire, gauge of wire and how big of a fuse to get. also the weight reduction of this battery is probably more than buying a $300 CF hood.
