Even better -

"He was passing where a double yellow line was on the roadway. He passed two cars, attempted to get back in his lane and, before he could do that, hit this motorcyclist head on," said Trooper Kim Miller, Florida Highway Patrol.

On his Choppers, Inc. web site, Lane is shown relaxing with a beer. Troopers suspect he was driving under the influence late Monday night.

"We do believe he was impaired based on the evaluations the trooper did on Mr. Lane," Miller said.

If it's true, may he get what he deserves.

I think everyone should reserve judgement until the case is resolved in court, however, it does seem that Mr. Lane screwed up pretty good and hopefully justice will be served. I would think he feels horrible about killing a fellow "rider" given that he was apparently making an illegal pass when he did it. If his tox tests show he was drunk, I hope they throw the book at him. Either way, he has to live with this for the rest of his life and that should be a nasty punishment, regardless of what the law does to him.

Ride safe....and watch out for Billy Lane

i like how it says

"Chopper builder hurt in fatal crash"

and not

"innocent man dead after being hit headon by truck"

OR SOMETHING ya know?
but ya... i guess its not going to catch peoples eyes as much as the first one.

i just think thats bullshit.
any normal person would prolly be in jail for that or some ****. expletive

I liked his style, he made everything free hand, although I don't condone about what he did was right.

In California, if you are in a vehicle collision while intoxicated and someone dies, you'll be convicted of murder.
