like i said that all depends on how you drive, obviously it eats gas very quickly when you just boost all day, but if you drive normal most of the time(IE:keep the revving under 4500, shift low) you should be OK
its stupid. You dont need to spend 3000$+ to have a good turbo kit. do lots of research.
im running 10psi on a stock b20. the rods have arp rod bolts... but other than that its all stock.
i spent about 1200$ in total... it could have been 1000$ but i rushed at two points and both times cost me 100$ that ill never get back.
what i paid is a rough estimate and that includes tunning. which me and a friend learned to do. but if you learn to tune your gona need to buy a couple things in which case add another 5-600$
but if you just spend time researching youll see you can piece together a turbo kit for wayyy less than 3000,2000$ and it will be better than the kits that sell for that much...
use a chip or standalone tunning. dont use an FMU those are more of a guess at tunning. though they do work they limit your abilities and horsepower big time.
an fmu is like a guess at tunning if you get an fmu you wont need to be tuned cause thats what the fmu is for. lots of people will say tune tune tune.. and they only say it but they dont know what the expletive they are talking about..
anyways i had an fmu before and when i finally chipped my ecu and got injectors and ditched the fmu my power difference was amazing on the same setup....
plus out of boost i dont burn so much god damn gas its like running stock.
