quick question about it, just wondering, do you use two oem or oem style head gaskets or is it custom stuff??

nope. i am getting a custom plate with adjustable gear made for the water pump, then running an electric one, so that i can use the stock GSR belt.

if i hit 250whp i would be more than happy.

by looking at that sideview its just not adding up for me. seems like if you dropped it an inch to stock gsr deck height itd still hit. also, it seems like a gsr would have more than an inch before it hit the hood so youd jsut have to remove the webbing under the hood. that thing jsut looks way way up there like an h2b.

it take it this motor is an excersize in R/S ratio benifits?

Yeah, my stock gsr I used to have in it was hitting the hood already with the webbing cut out. I havnt tried the hood yet, but Im 100% sure there will be a nice big hole for the VC in it

Rod/Stroke ratio on it is 1.82. It should be a high revver, My buddy will be borrowing me his skunk2 cams to also try out on it and see what it can pull with more of a topend cam.

ive always been very very interested in deck plating, if you could post details on how it is on the block, or link me to the thread if you already have. i didnt look super closely but it doesnt look welded so im assuming it has countersunk bolts? how do the rings like that little line it has to leave? ive seen deckplating before, i know nhra outlawed it a few years ago and you dont hear a whole lot about it anymore. fill us (me) in if you would, aye?

Yeah its not welded it has coutersunk bolts, the deckplate is stuck on top and then the sleeves are put in after so that it is smooth. Other than and the fact that you need custom rods made, I dont know too much else.

Heres how the motor looked before the head was on, you can see where it is bolted on and how the sleeves were done.

are my eyes decieving me or is that a neon radiator? i just got one and it looks short enough that if mounted on an aftermarket x member in a rex it will tuck under the support iwth a remotely mounted cap.

so youre saying the block is sleeved with longer sleeves to make up the difference in height, so the water jacket and everything stays the same? that makes more sense

dont suck in any pumpkins or little kids with that TB

Nope, Its a custom made rad by a local company here. Neon rad doesnt fit in there with the RMF header.

Yeah, Basically the sleeves are exteneded past where they are originally and up the to the top of the plate. Everything else is the same still.
