got a call from my parents today after class. Someone broke into our house (brick through the kitchen window) in Broadview (near west burbs of chicago) and ransacked our house. They ended up taking some money and found the spare valet key for the CRV.

I don't have pictures of it but it has the optional roof rack, and running boards. For those that don't know the SE's have color matched bumpers and color matched rear tire cover. The rear tire cover has several vertical scratches on it (from the garage door grazing it) I also repaired one of the deeper scratches but if you look closely you can see the repair.

This sucks because I'm several hours away at school. Stealing from hard working people Please keep a look out for me and my parents.

Got a call from the parentals. CRV was recovered in Chicago. Don't know much else... detective says it seems to be unharmed. Hopefully nothing is too jacked up.

 

So apparently the car was found because the idiot ran a red and got pulled over. Still had the stolen plates on it and he got busted. He ended up fingering another idiot, claiming he just got the car from a friend... we'll see... i hope his prints match ones found on my parents window sil.

Congrats Darren Finley and Corey Farden you might get convicted for breaking and entering aswell as Grand theft auto.
