Default D series Turbo Intercooler, too big?

Heres an Intercooler i just bought for a customer on his D series Turbo. Im confident we can get it to fit

D series turbos need alot more intercooler than any other car. We are confident it will all fit nice and snug

Really you should have gotten him a 38x12x6-12 intercooler, compact but thick. I'm not even sure you will have 2 inches of ground clearance unless you angle the intercooler. Definatley not a smart choice. I really hope that's for a fast truck.

I say mount it to the back of the window like the Baja Bugs. Make sure you use T-clamps so that it holds under high boost.

Sarcasim at its best!

that is so huge. theres no way you can get that to fit. it looks like it will be hitting the ground and your hood. but good luck with that. i'd get rid of that and get something alittle smaller

its so funny the people that took him seriously. a buddy of mine had one like that, that came out of a huge diesel. i asked to borrow it but he said no

i think you could do it though...just replace your hood with that intercooler and your set

We actually sell and install a lot of those here where I work. They are installed behind the grill so you can't really see them unless you look close.

Some of those diesel guys are no joke.

HOLY MOTHER OF FMIC!!!!

Talk about pressure drop like a ****. You'll lose more power vs. gain with going with something that ginormous.

Hahaha. Rock it!

Sarcasm aside. Could you guys imaging seeing an EF hatch or CRX at a car show with one of those as a hood or tail gate? Someone with some photoshop skills has to make that happen.
