1) crappy thread title
2) hit the SEARCH, there is an h22 HEADER THREAD

do you really need a thread to figure out what you can do to an h22? open your eyes dude

most of the parts that make our cars fast wont be found in Super Street

header thread. The vibrant (mugen copy with 2.5" collector) and T1R headers are supposed to be good but RMF, SMSP, Six Sigma Racing are top dogs.

once again i tell a noob good luck and do some reading for yourself. Honda-Tech is a database. Its full of all these questions that you have asked and full of answers. use recent topics and archives when you are searching. try not to be so specific with your search subject title.

there are a few links that tell you a realistic view on modding your prelude and other things.

not our fault you didn't come prepared

as this is really not a database and it is in fact a forum.... i wont come back with a witty flame attempt
If it is JDM, like my swap was, I would start with getting the MSD external coil cap and getting either an aftermarket coil or a stock exteranl coil. JDM dizz has an internal coil.

Things that are proven to get gains for the money. Cams, Camgears, VAFC and tuning.

If you need a header because your engine does not have one, get a DC, you wont see gains but at least you will have a header.... if you want gains, i like the SMSP or the RMF.

Pullys are cheap and will pick up bit, and they are easy.......

Plug wires and plugs seem to be a cheap way to make your engine a bit more peppy, MSD + Denso Irridum is what i run....

But b4 you mod, get the basics, Change the water pump and belts, get the H23 manual tensioner, other basic care items...... it also helps to tear out the PS, AC, ABS, 50lbs of mounting brackets that love to cut your hands to shreds, little things like that....

dont use that msd crap, the internal coil is easy to wire, or you could just use the h23 dizzy

do you not understand the definition of a database? This is the whole reason why honda-tech and all other useful message boards have gone to ****. You get a bunch of people who dont want to educate themselves and are looking for other people who have done the research to give them all the answers. Thats not how life goes compadre.

there are very few questions on this forum that cant be answered by searching. That is the purpose of a database. When you dont find the answers after multiple attempts and multiple search subject titles under recent and archived threads, then make a thread.

"do you not understand the definition of a database?"

fo·rum (fôrm, fr-)
n. pl. fo·rums also fo·ra (fôr, fr)
1.
a. The public square or marketplace of an ancient Roman city that was the assembly place for judicial activity and public business.
b. A public meeting place for open discussion.
c. A medium of open discussion or voicing of ideas, such as a newspaper or a radio or television program.
2. A public meeting or presentation involving a discussion usually among experts and often including audience participation

da·ta·base (dt-bs, dt-) Computer Science
n. also data base
A collection of data arranged for ease and speed of search and retrieval. Also called data bank.
tr.v. da·ta·based, da·ta·bas·ing, da·ta·bas·es
To put (data) into a database.

Now what sounds more like Honda Tech????

also....

i dont know if you wish Hondat-tech was set up as a database, or if it should be..... but it is very much an open and public forum.... so dont scream and flame for someone using a forum the way it was meant to be used.......

if you would read the rules, LIKE YOURE SUPPOSED TO, you would realize a few things

1) the title of this thread sucks

2) you SEARCH before you post

so THIS forum is not meant to be used in this repetitive, useless way

and if you don't like that then you can just geeeettt out (south park)

see the thing is, you weren't here back in the day when this place wasnt full of idiots and questions like "how do i gain power" or "whats the best intake" or "what is the best header" didnt pop up 10 times a week (exagerating) like they do now. The newer the members get, the lazier they seem to get.

yes, this is very much an open forum but jesus, did all the info from the past just go to waste or what? And im glad you are able to lookup a word in an online dictionary. You should apply those tactics to here.

If your lookin for a header, but dont have $800+ to spend i'd pick a Greddy/Trust over a DC.
