I'm only here b/c you decided to make a new thread, bitching about how no one responded to this thread.

Simply put, you need to give some more info. Like condition of the car, or if you even bothered to look up the blue book value, which we shouldn't have to do for you. It really just sounds like you haven't done any research on the car, and you want people to spoon feed you everything.

If you can live without leather seats, sunroof and auto climate control, I would suggest an LX sedan. It will save you a couple of grand w/ the same performance.

If you do decide to purchase this vehicle or any used vehicle for that matter, make sure it was well maintained.

Haha... Okay buddy. What kind of advice do you want us to give you? I can't tell if it fits your needs or wants (since you haven't mentioned anything about that). So I guess I should just tell you a pro is reliability (for the most part) and a con is that the car could use more power. But wait, that can be said of just about most cars out there nowadays. Not to mention your pros might be someone else's cons...

OR... Maybe if you didn't create a new thread just to bitch about how no one had responded to this thread, I would have been more helpful.

Oh, and your comment about my avatar... The lips in the picture happen to belong to my fiance, and I'm quite fond of them. I like the picture, so it's going to stay. If you don't like it, then don't look at it.

But back to the topic on hand... What exactly do you want to know? Do you want to hear some 18 year old say the car is too slow and the ride isn't stiff enough? Or do you want to hear some 50 year old say that car is plenty fast but doesn't have a soft enough ride? Everybody has different opinions on everything... Fit and finish of the interior, how solid the door feels when you shut it, quality of the paint... And most of the opinions are simply based off their previous cars.

Are you getting the hints? Give us information, and we can give you an answer besides "it's a good car". By information, I mean what you drive now, how do you drive, what do you want/need out of a car, what do you like about your current/previous car, what do you dislike about your current/previous car, etc. Otherwise this thread is like a person walking into a Mexican restaruant and asking, "Is Mexican food good, and am I going to like it?"

Pro: Good gas mileage on highway, bullet proof engine, and I like the ride(not too soft but not bone jarring hard either)

Con is definitely the auto tranny: I know this is a Honda forum, but it is crap. Trust me, I have one, but with all the failures I have been hearing about, it makes me worried in the long run. I plan to keep this car for a very long time.

I have recently changed the tranny fluid at 42k(just drain and fill), and I plan on doing it again every 15k after I do the 60k service.

Interesting, what a way to make an entrance. Just looking for some opinions about the car, compared to what I currently drive (96 lx accord w/ minor upgrades of which hasn't helped the least) I thought that this would be better as far as performance esp., asking price given it has less than 10,000 miles that it should have. Anyway, I've decided against it, found out it had been wrecked (in front). So will wait for something else. Although, I do really appreciate the positive feedback.

Well, I'm sorry to hear you'll have to wait for something else, but at the same time I'm glad you found out about the wreck before you bought it.

Good luck in your search...
