Default ?????? What to do with jdm ITR BLocK at machine shop ??????

ok ive got a 98 jdm ITR engine with rocket valve train, crower spec 2 cams , and rev flat face valves and plan to send the block to the machine shop to get hot tanked and re honed ..

Here's the thing im new to allmotor build ups and would like to know what else i would need for my block to with stand my head and 200whp safely..

also i would like to know what else i should have the machine shop do to the block before it gets sent in ,

another quick question. What pistion rings do i need for jdm itr pistons, over size or standered ??

thanks for any help

if you gonna freshen up the motor, get oversized pistons. and since its coming apart throw in some arp rod bolts.

I reccomend you junk the Crower cams. That should be first on your list.

it doesnt matter if the engine has 5k on it.....i dont think any engine builder would re-use used bearings if they have the engine apart.

put in new bearings. arp rod bolts would be a good idea also.

Ahh Whew. Okay Cool. I had a buddy DESTROY a highly built Turboed GSR cause of them. They bought him a Brand new block. He had a NASTY campaign/web site up against them. He turned over the web site to them once he was satisfied with how they repaied him.

I still don't trust their stuff.
