I wouldn't be too worried about availability. Worst case, it would have to be shipped over from Japan. *shrug*

you better stock up on a few b18c5, then sell it on ebay a few years from now as New Old Stock.
Isn't it US law to require OEMs to make all parts available for at least 7 years after production?
If so, then no. There will still be blocks. And Honda is very good about keeping a good supply of parts for older cars.

I thought it was longer than that, but either way, 7+ years = plenty of longblock supply.

actually, its 10 years from the last model year.
not sure if it was a law, thought it was just an industry standard.
