Coted Mild steel Header + Header wrap = ??? bad idea?

ok. i originially posted this at welding/fab but have no response.

so yeah.. my header is a long tubed primary. and it's right beside my new AL rad and it's oviously heating up my rad. and i wanna get it wraped.
so .. should i do it or no?
lol i dont really want my header to rust off

just wrap it and when the time comes...sell it and go SS....
