To raise the fuel pressure you need to restrict the return fuel line with something. A tight zip tie around the line should do it. And to get really big backfires on downshifts you can reduce the airflow into the engine which makes it super rich by clogging the intake with something. You can put a towel or a rag in the intake, but make sure its before the air filter so it wont get sucked into the engine!

take your o2 sensor out of its place and let it hang in the free air. the engine will think its running super lean and add a ton of fuel.. it will be so rich you can smell the gas.

but making your car run rich is stupid.

if your gona do it the right way to do it is to tune. you can set it to be rich at any rpm you want.

but like i said... its stupid.

ok thanks..umm what about putting a spacer/o2 bung in your cat and putting the o2 sensor on. i mean if i take the o2 sensor out and later on my car runs rich and if i put my o2 sensor back on wont the car stop running rich?

ok lol i thought i was tripping. well you could tell him to get an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator.. better than restricting air flow

B&M, I doubt is much more then $50.

And the adjustable FPR, I would Think, is the easiest way to run rich.

the B&M is a tried and true part

just purchase that and a fuel pressure guage and turn the fuel pressure up until the car runs stoich

so you just install the FPG and you can turn up the pressure and your car will run rich...its that simple where you just install it and raise the pressure....

with the FPR it allows you to regulate the fuel pressue by adjusting how much pressure the valve requires before it will open releasing excess fuel into the fuel return line

How do you know hes running lean? Running rich isn't going to make him faster, if he really is running lean, there is a problem that needs to be fixed.
