Is it still the stock gsr ecu?

And if it just idles out, would adjusting the TB screw, or throttle cable help?

I'm confused.... did you already do the swap and you aren't sure if you did it with the right stuff because it doesnt stay on?

I already did the swap, all sensors plugged in, i plugged off the vacuum nipples on the back of the intake manifold and the one on the tb, i have 2 ecu's to play with- jdm itr and a chipped p28. Seems like the car is not getting enough fuel at fireup and when I do fire it up i gotta give it gas or it dies, also misfiring. Just wanted to know if i had to modify any wires/pins, and anything obvious when doing a ITR swap in a GSR

u cant use the p28 unless u get a vtec pressure switch, jdm itr doesnt have one.

all the wiring is pretty straight forward. you dont have to modify anything.

are you getting check engine lights? hows your timing? did you replace the t-belt or anything?

it could be a lot of different things

No CEL with both ecus. Car is just sputtering and wont idle. Maybe i messed up somewhere, hooked something up that i didnt have to, or missing something.. thats why i wanted to know if anyone got links to do the swap

You just plugged the lines from the GSR Intake Manifold? or did you plug the ITR Manifold? The only thing you should have to plug is the Vaccum lines from the IAB setup. If your not getting a CEL, I would start with Vaccum. Did you change the timing belt before installing it?

there are no links for this swap..trust me, i searched. getting info about it is like pulling teeth. There is really nothing different about it than swapping in any other motor in any other car. the wiring is all the same (except for the IAB).

i would check your timing. mabye its 180 off or something stupid.

Have you checked to make sure you don't have a bad distributor? I had a nearly identical problem on a ls swap into an eg, turns out it was a bad distributor, got a new one and voila! it cranked right up and idled like it just came from factory.

i plugged the vacuum nipple on the back of the itr manifold.... and the one on the top of the tb ( where the canister usually feeds off on like on a usdm ls motor

Are you sure your getting vaccum at your FPR ? If you can verify this, then I would say your source is good. Did you check your ignition timing? Also I would stick with the JDM ITR ecu for now, the p28 won't work unless its chipped for that motor.
