Default SCION tc compared to integra ls?

Hey can i get a comparison between the teg and tc?

handling?
gas mileage?
performance?
insurance?
which one has a better tranny/clutch?

thanks..im debating whether to get the TC or integ. I like the interior and exterior of the teg a lot more but what concerns me is THEFT. Thats why i dont really want a teg.

well the Tc is going to be a lot more expensive.
and insurance would most likely cost more as well.
and if your car gets stolen you can just get your insurance money and buy a Tc hahaha.

All I know is that I raced a stock 5 spd tc w/ my ls integra with only a cat back twice and took him by two cars both times. As far as quality I'm shure its good their a toyota product. But at the end of the day I would go Integra every time. And for insurance I would bet that the tc would be higher than an integra anyway, just because of the price difference between the two. Also they are heavier and have a bigger motor so I would say an Integra would have better gas milage. Just my 2 cents.

It depends on what you're looking for, theyre very different cars.
The scions look very nice and are going to have alot nicer interior than an integra ls

the seats are more comfortable and will be a better daily driver.

If you want to change things up an integra is nice... new motor / suspension is easy to find and hondas handle like they're on rails with some decent suspension.

Tc will be more but a nicer car to start with.

You have the money and just want a DD, go for the TC. They're nice cars
you wanna play with things and get sick gas mileage and a top 10 stolen car, grab the ls :D

Remember that Integras are always on top of thieves lists. so if you live in an area with a lot of car theft take that into consideration. But Integra over a Tc any day of the week.

TC= The Camry. Buy an N/A Mr2 if you want to get a TC and save yourself a lot of money.

just found out the TC has a city MPG of 22....Wow for a 160hp car thats pretty LOW!! My TSX weighs 400 more pounds(33xx) and has 200 hp and it gets 22MPG in the city. Whats up with that?

I dont think Tc means the Camry. Ive heard its ment, toyota corolla (since they share the same engine i think) or toyota celica. My roomate told me what it meant i think awhile ago i forget though

My Coworker has a tC. I asked him about tC car thefts. He said none have been stolen but one... (Southern California area):

Our conversation in July:

me: how are the tC's theft rates?
me: I was suprised hondas were still targets
co-worker: none stolen as of yet that I know of
me: nice
me: that's good
co-worker: yup
co-worker: wait
co-worker: take that back
co-worker: one at gun point
me:
me: WHAT?
co-worker: up in the mountains
me: in the mountains?
co-worker: they were chillin at a viewpoint
co-worker: at night
me: ahh
me: sad
co-worker: one of the popular mtn runs
me: ahh
co-worker: a honda pulls up
me: what area is that called again?
co-worker: 3 fat455's jump out
co-worker: and take the tc at gunpoint
me: BLAH!
me: was it recovered?
co-worker: yeah
me: GOOD!
me: catch the fat455'es?
co-worker: yeah
me: good
me: in jail I hope?
co-worker: yup
me: was it recovered by a tracking system?
co-worker: hahaha
co-worker: no it was picked up on side of a street dumped with empty tank
co-worker: joy riders
me:
me: ahh
co-worker: but one of them had a record
co-worker: went to his house
co-worker: bam
co-worker: 3 brothers
me: stupid ******
co-worker: now they all got records

How do those joy riders they like the tC now
hope they made some good buddies in jail

Sounds like whether you get an Integra or tC, get something to ward off the joy riders. (In this case, Clifford BlackJax).

My girlfriend has a TC. The car is awesome for a DD and it also has descent acceleration. As for the gas mileage it think it gets such bad mileage is b/c of the gearing of the car it is really low geared.

one turnoff about toyotas is how boring their engine sounds/feel. i like how honda's engine sound raw, you feel a lot more connected to the car. Anyone know what i mean?

It doesnt actually stand for "The Camry", its just something I realized one day when I found out they use the same 5SFE motor in the OLD 90's 4cyl Camry, NA MR2, and a lot of other Toyota vehicles since then. Not knocking the 5S, its a strong and reliable motor, however the 5SFE is strictly a fuel economy design.

my gf has a tC, the car is a great DD, gas mileage is alright, but they have alot more torque and its a 2.4 liter engine so thats probably why. interior and features on the car are just nuts, she can just plug her ipod in and use the radio **** like the wheel on an ipod. i've driven it, things i dont like about it are the brakes are LONG, they have stopping power, but unless you slam on them, it takes long to stop if you just ease on the brakes. also the steering response isnt great. i enjoy driving it once in a while though cause it's comfy . dunno about the ls, but i have a gs-r and i always smile when i get back into it after driving the tC

Tc Stands for touring coupe.... not the camry.... why would anyone assume that is what it means?
