Default taiho and daido oem bearings.. difference??

like the title says...what is the difference if any between the two sets of bearings.
i searched but all came up with the same question never answered. need to order a set of mains in next few days so someone please help me out and respond...thanks in advance!!

another question is....i have a 2000 h22 block with the 50mm mains
my bearing codes are 35553 with the block stamped 44444

here lately i have gotten lost on which guide to use and how to pull out exactly what i need to be ordering.

reason i say i have gotten lost is really that im getting confused, either b/c its late or whatever, but yeah i know most 2000 blocks are 55mm mains...so should i still use that guide or use the 92 to 96 guide in the service manual. thanks for the reply. goin to bed.

if you have 50mm mains its NOT a 2000 h22.

if it says h22a4 and has 50mm mains its from 97, thats the ONLY year of open deck h22a4's with the small mains.

use the codes from a 92-96 prelude for the small main blocks.

taiho is usually cheaper than daido, so a lot of guys here consider daido to be better

thanks man i appreciate the info from both you guys.....

ok now that i know to use the guide for the 92 to 96 bearings.... when i had it figured out for a 2000 it was 5 blacks and 4 browns and 1 blue....well those dont have a blue on the parts list just yellow, pink, black, brown, green, red i need to find the exact chart for those years.....im looking on alldatapro.com and i checked every year from 92 to 2000 and 97 and up its the same chart to 2000 but 92 to 96 there is no chart? crazy crap!!

taiho and diado are just manufacturers, i to was wondering what all of this meant so i went to the sorce, and i was told that it was just different companys who make them, no difference in compisition, oil journals, or width. so they are all the same just order what you need but i wouldnt mix the two manufactuers.

Why not? If your clearances are set to specification, there is no reason not to use both.
And why revive a 2 year old thread?
