48ar exhaust w/ 60ar 50 trim comp on b18c
has anyone had any experience with this setup? is the 48 ex too small - will it run out of breathe? motor has pistons / rods / hondata. can run 15lbs. input pls.
With a built block, you'd most likely want to run more boost, so it would be better to go with a bigger hot side. I had the exact same spec turbo on a VW 1.8T and switched to the .63, made a big difference in top end.
yeah, i started w/ a 48/42 was great on low but died on top spooled around 3k. i have a 63/60 57trim now and its great on top but spools at 5200. is there a way to get spool up around 4500 and still have top end? maybe a gt2871r? maybe i'll sell this 48/60 and save up for it.
