Default 48ar exhaust w/ 60ar 50 trim comp on b18c

has anyone had any experience with this setup? is the 48 ex too small - will it run out of breathe? motor has pistons / rods / hondata. can run 15lbs. input pls.

With a built block, you'd most likely want to run more boost, so it would be better to go with a bigger hot side. I had the exact same spec turbo on a VW 1.8T and switched to the .63, made a big difference in top end.

I have a .48 on my B16, and don't rev it past 8k, and it works out really well..in your case i would go with a .63 though.

yeah, i started w/ a 48/42 was great on low but died on top spooled around 3k. i have a 63/60 57trim now and its great on top but spools at 5200. is there a way to get spool up around 4500 and still have top end? maybe a gt2871r? maybe i'll sell this 48/60 and save up for it.

i don't have a scan of my dyno chart to prove it, but my .48 a/r 50 trim T3/T04E doesn't die out up top at all.Pulls good all the way up

w3rd. My SC50 .48 a/r exhaust spools justr before 3k and pulls to redline (8200rpm, stock GSR)!
