CRX 88 harness problem

Ok i bought a 88 crx shell. I'm gonna put a ls/vtec in it BUT i dont have the engine harness. I have bought one and one of the connector does'nt fit. See pic below.

That is my connector on driver side near the resistor box. It round and have 8 wires.

This one is from my harness i just bought.Green connector for resistor box but the other one have only 6 wires and its not round... Anyone?

do you know for sure what harness you're trying to use??

weird ****...

The 88 is supposed to have a 6 wire rectangular plug,,and the 89-91 has an 8 wire round plug...But your 88 has a 8 wire round plug?? is that correct?

That it. Yours is ok but the one a bought, the guy said that it was on is 88 civic. Now my crx its a 88 and is not the same. I guess i will need to buy another one.
