Depends. When at op. temp feel your upper and lower hoses. If the lower one is ice cold, whereas the upper one is hot, your thermostats not opening all the way, replace it.

Naw, no water. Although the other day when my heat was on it was coming out cold. Then after shutting it off and doing it again it came out hot. Hasn't happened since then.

i'd check the termostat first. it's easy to get to, a new one can be had for less than $10, and they don't take long to replace.
