Advice/Comments on a '00 Civic SI
Hey guys,
I've been watching Honda-Tech for awhile and decided to make my first post today. So I see an ad for a '00 Civic SI for $1300, but the only problem(s) is that it's missing the engine/tranmission and gauge cluter due to theft... I was wondering if it's worth the money to invest and rebuild the car? or should I just give up on it (if I decide I want to buy it I'd probably try to haggle it down some). What do you guys think?

what else is still there???if its just missing the parts you mentioned sounds koo...problems that will occur if you do buy it is....high insurance....and problems with the DMV...well all know how going to the DMV is...
hmm I don't think anything else is missing... (I'll email the guy about it).. but around how much would it cost to fix it up to working order if these are the only parts missing? also my friends tell me that the wiring of the car might need to be redone.. so how is that? Thanks!

Definately worth it.
Engine/tranny's gonna run ya 1.5-2 grand give or take (installed/uninstalled - depending on what cond. the engine is in, how many miles are on it, who's selling it, etc.)
