Default ITR suspension swap Question

I have 96 ITR suspension on my eg hatch with a B16. What I want to know is will my DSS axles fit into place or do I have to buy 36 mm axles? I can't remember if the 36 is from a 98 or 96 ITR.

4 lug itr uses 32mm hubs, not 36 like98+ spec jdm itr 5 lug. so unless you have some custom combo built, they will work.

I have 5 lug does that mean that I have 98 ITR suspension? If thats the case then I have a newer set up, but then my new $400 axles won't work. DAMNIT!

it matters if yours is u.s spec or jdm spec 5 lug...jdm 5 lug use bigger axles. go ask the people in the suspension forum

considering that there wasn't a north american type-r in 1996, or a JDM 5 lug in 1996... I think you need to figure out what you have bought.

Is it on the car right now? If so what axles are you running currently

take off one of the alxe nuts, get out your measuring tape and measure it. I think that if it has a b16 swap, it has 32mm hubs.

managed to fit my 32 mm axles in so does that mean that my suspension came from the US version type R right? Or does it mean that I have a custom combo?

if you have ITR rear lower control arms, then you have to use an ITR style rear shock, all the rest is cool

Must have eg lower arms bc I just put in my eg Tanabe coils and they bolted right up. The more I look into my setup the more I realize its a custom setup. Gonna be fun when stuff breaks.
