Default Dyno'd my almost stock B16 today. Check it out

Set up:
JDM B16A
Weapon R intake
AEBS intake manifold
ITR cams
DC 4-1 header (2" collector by the way)
custom crush bent 2.5" exhaust

Result: 160whp and 108tq
This was only revving to 8k on a completely untuned ECU. It was a stock 99-00 Si ECU. I'll post the graph in a little while if I can get it to work and you'll see that it's still pulling too. Im guessing with tuning and revving to about 8.5k...I'd maybe get around 170whp. My 1st pull I made 149whp and 106tq and that was with a chipped p28 running to rich in some places and to lean in others and only revving to 7600. I was also using a PasswordJDM intake as well. I put the stock ECU in there and made 155whp, then put a Weapon R intake in and made 160. I don't think that's to bad considering it's a 1.6L and it's completely untuned and being underrevved lol. Anyway, if you have any 2 cents, lemme know. Thanks gusy

I thought it was pretty good. My best time so far was a 15.7 and that was with the password intake and the chipped p28 so I was only revving to 7600. Im gonna practice more this Friday and see if I can pull off a 15.3 or better. By the way, the motor's in a '97 EK hatch.

Looks like you've got one of those factory freak motors (not being an asshat....seriously I've heard/seen some crazy differences in identical motors). But I would really look into doing your valve springs/ retainers b.c itr cams @ 8500 would make me a little nervous.

Oh yea for sure. I'm not revving over 8k with the stock valvetrain. I'd be doing good to make 160whp at 8500 but I made it at 8k and it's still pulling hard. And like I said, there hasn't been any tuning done at all. Not even an adjustable FPR. Overall, Im very pleased with the results.

Nice numbers, what kinda dyno was it? Still good numbers though. Get some good tires and practice more. Those B16's like higher rpm launches.

thanks guys, and yea I need more practice at the track. Bad. I've recently just started going often. I've found that the best place to launch in my car is at about 2600 RPM. Anything higher than that and it wheel hops pretty bad. My 60fts are bad though. Im going to practice more this Fri. My shifts get better every time I go. Oh and it was on a DynoJet

2600 is a lil low... mess around with it... wheel spin is oki as long as its not too bad... there is a fine grey area... dont get to crazy nothing about 5000 on street tires, but tracks are stickier than the street give that thing hell.... if it wheel hops try a lil higher launch to spin a bit more

nice numbers...but 2600 is way too low to launch a b16 at...at least 4500...try to feather the clutch on takeoff...it might seem a little intimidating at first, but try it out a few times before you hit the track...youll notice a nice difference at the track...powershift every gear

yah on street tires i had to laugh pretty much off idle or i would spin through 3rd.. got some bfg drags and if i heated them up i was launching at 5500-6000 on the street and they hooked pretty good! (never got to run at the track with good tires )

you just gotta find a good combo or slipping the clutch/feathering the gas.. just takes practise.. good luck

oh btw it was a stock gsr crx.

nice numbers with the lil motor, if you can get that car down to at least 2300-400 with you in it and some 20 inch slicks launching at 7500 i bet youll see a high 13 run. what weapon r intake was it is it the new ones?

I dont thinka nyone payed attention to that crush bent POS, he would gain power just getting rid of that crush bents are horrible for power even on a somewhat stock motor.

thanks for all the replies guys. I'm going to get the graph up as soon as possible. Im still amazed with the results. It's nothing special but to have absolutely no tuning, a shitty crush bent exhaust, and underrevving it, it's pretty good I think. I can't wait to see what it makes revving to 8.5 and tuning. And yea, Im not doing to good at the track. But then again, my 15.7 was with 149whp and only revving to 7600...Im hoping for at least a 15.3 when I go back this Fri with the stock ECU and the Weapon R intake.
