I'm using the AEM. Sounds good, seems to get the best performance if you are replacing the entire factory airbox assembly... and VTEC is much louder then stock with the AEM. (With any cone-style filter at that.)

Two suggestions:
1) Comptech intake, filter, and IceBox. (Won't fit your budget)
or
2)Tricked stock box, Comptech filter, stock intake. (Will do, and money left for
)

which K+N are you guys talking about? I didn't even know they made an application for integras.
Stock rubber intake piping, Comptech IceBox ans Comptech filter.
AEM makes good power, however it is very loud. (& that whole water thing) I swapped my AEM for the above set-up and have been very happy.

on stock cams for peak power I would go AEM
on stock cams for streetable midrange, I would go Icebox(this does not include 4400 AEM SPIKE)
big cams short intake and ICEBOX

I have an AEM and have had for a while and I'm happy with it. I've been thinking about swapping it out for an ICEBOX to see how it is, but I think I'm gonna stick with what I've got
Why not use the AEM short ram and put the filter inside the factory air box? Then use some ducting to draw cold air into the air box. You would have a DIY "icebox."
