Default Noob with a 06 accord...perf help

So i just got a 2006 accord / v6 with decent power and i already bought an CAI k & n Typhoon for it..Is there an aftermarket Lightened crank pulley or headers for this engine?..Or anything else?

What engine code is this v6/3.0 engine?

There are a couple different brands when it's comes to pulleys... You should be able to find them easily enough. The headers are cast into the heads, and are thus not replaceable.

Cat-back exhausts, custom j-pipes, E-pro cats (although they're questionable)... Just about anything else and you would either need to crack open the engine, or go with a different block altogether.

I wouldn't either... Other non-engine performance mods you can do include springs/struts or coilovers, sway bar upgrades (like a CL-S rear sway, or currnt TL rear sway), OEM lip kit, short shifter, etc.

There are some slight differences between the 05 and 06, although I'm drawing a blank at the moment as to what they were.

you're the first I know of trying to put a UR pulley on their 06 v6. I do know people personally who have them on their 04 or 05 v6 and they run great.

I don't see why it would be a problem. I don't believe any of the changes involved the crank pulley or anything close to it.

i have the same car, 06 v6 coupe stick, so far i have the K&N Cold air intake, i picked it cus i live in florida and don't wanna dry truth water, and this one can be converted into a short ram for hurricane season, althoug the AEM V2 will fit, i did the suspention TEIN, rotors, brake pads, comptech has the rear sway bar and the short shifter for the 05 but they fit, and the GREDDY EVO2 i have on it is awesome, but costly it'll cost you around 800 but the performance is good and is very quiet sounds like an infinity g35, i also change the cat converter for a straight pipe, but we have no emitions inspection here in florida, so that would be a problem in other states, but i wanna go TURBO and there is no freaking turbo manifold for it! so if anyone can help with that would be great! let me know if you find out about more stuff for it ok!

thats because your headers are cast into your block, that may have even been covered in this thread. if you can figure out a way to put a new manifold on and rig a turbo, by all means do share it with everyone.

You dont really need a new manifold. You can boost it no problem. Just extend it more and weld on a turbo flange of your choice and boost. Boosted 7th gens have already been done. There's even a TWIN TuRBO one!

There are only 3 known turbo'd 7th gen cars (maybe 4). However, I will add my name to that list shortly enough.

One is by cstyleaccord (which is a 4cyl), who took it off and is the process of doing another one. The TWin TuRBO!"!")(!)(*$( one you speak of doesn't even run, its a sponsor car. The other one is the RacingTechnologyCo prototype car (which is a 4cyl as well). Nor do we know if the 06 ECU can be cracked (although I bet cstyle could do it, he cracked the 03-05 one, and hondata has yet to). So you really have the odds stacked against you sir, even if you found out a way to run a turbo on the stock manifold.

There was a white v6 waaay back when but he fell off the planet. The Twin Turbo one was followed by one of the sites I visit so I thought it was running.

The OP was talking about the v6 models. Doing the V6 is more of a challenge than that of a 4banger. That still brings the number 2 turbo v6 7th gens that I know of or read about.

where the hell did you get this info? anyway if there is a bolt on turbo kit sign me in for one! cuz i was told here in miami on a shop were that's all they do, (turbos) that it can be done but it would be very expensive, would have to move the battery to the trunk and the piping would be sick! and the ecu would have to be replaced by a stand alone unit like the one from AEM, soo any way you look at it it's sick money we are talking about, so if there is a kit, well like i said GET ME ONE!
