can anyone recc a tow dolly rental place in los angeles?
Im trying to look for tow dolly rental place in LA. a tow dolly is almost like an open trailer, but you dont need to drive your car car up the ramp. Its offered by uhaul and looks like this:

I need to tow my car to the track this friday. I was initally looking to rent from uhaul for 24hrs, but then the price is $40! Would anyone know of anyplace else that offers a more competitive rate?
I've searched h-t, and google already, but to no avail. TIA!

been there, done that. i hate dealing w/ uhaul. renting is annoying.
but the return is even worse. i usually have to find a location who will
accept the trailer back. they send you all over rejecting you.
btw, if your vehicle touches the road -- like on the dolly.
your car still needs to have current registration.

thanks for heads up! my track car happens to be not yet registered as road legal.
i guess that adds another $10 to the budget. oh well. the thing i dislike about u-haul are sometimes the hidden costs. i've used them before for other stuff and i almost never spend what i planned in the beginning. there's just something shady about that company. Are there really no decent local places at all?
