Just picked up my relocator and want to know if there is a easy way to mount it up with out taking off my bumper. Has anyone done this with out removing the bumper and what did it end up looking like.

I have one on my EG and I had to take the bumper off to mount it.

Taking the bumper off isn't that bad its just 5 screws on the top under the hood, 2 screws on the sides under the fender, and 2 bolts on the very bottom to hold the splash gaurd. DIY

 

should I mount it onto the black plastic or on the painted part of the bumper? Which would be a sturdier spot?

 

i made one myself for $5 thanks to home depo and smart thinking

 

I mounted mine directly under the painted part of the bumper. Not on the grill part of the bumper. I would take some pics but I don't have a camera right now.

I just mounted it on the grill part instead of under the painted part of the bumper. I hope that it doesn't shake while I drive.
