any one who has painted their rims please post how you did it example steps you did sand paper grit what kind of primer and paint thanks

 

krylon spraypaint, no sandpaper needed on mine, but got some places where it didn't stick. Take your time, and be patient. Just put thin coats on everytime. If it takes 2 coats, great. If it take 50 coats, oh well. Just don't rush. Good luck

 

I didn't even sand or used primer on mine, I just used simple green wheel cleaner and cleaned them up real good. Then I used a GM colour gun metal paint to paint the rims and finished off with a clear coat. It's been a couple months now, no chipping

 

Take them to a powder coating shop.

 

Sandblasted, sanded - 60 then 100 grit, primer, paint, clearcoat. Visit my site for some pics.
