the ls motor is a dual over head cam and is a B series motor.
all B series are DOHC (dual over head cam)

Really? What about the ZC?
Really? What about the ZC?
this thread is the exact reason why HT has a bad rep. D sereis are not all Sohc. B sereis are ALL DOHC.
Not all Integra's came with B series. JDM EF had a Dual cam d sereis, aka ZC, as well as the earlier JDM 89-90 Gen2's, and i think they did continue it into OBD1 Da's, AS WEKK AS THE USDM INTEGRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOOB

Wrong, there's a DOHC D series, I think newman's EF has one
And it's not a ZC valvecover either

zc's came in DOHC and SOHC
zc's came in DOHC and SOHC
stock USDM is 100% DOHC.
It is only a SOHC if it has had an engine swap, or it is some sort of JDM spec (import car).

That is what a stock LS looks like (your valve cover should be a bit different, but you get the idea)

That is a SOHC engine, see the difference......

Bend your head over, look at your feet. Tell your friend to grab a tack hammer, and hit you at the base of your skull for being such a dumb ***.
I am sorry for that remark. Every car is equipped with a hood. To open that hood you need release a latch. The lever is located under the steering wheel. Open the hood and check the the engine.
If that is not helpful better luck tomorrow.

It's probably a DOHC D16a from a first gen Integra.
To clear up the confusion in this thread: all USDM integras are/were DOHC. For a reason.

You're right, but that was my point, a DOHC D series engine exists.
