well I worked today at Roebling Road its a 2.2 mi track near savannah, ga. While there I had some spare time so I put the car on the scales. First the good news, with no setup adjustments the car cross weighed almost perfect, 1457, 1459. while this is all a good it also means the car and I weigh 2916, this was with full interior, 1/4 tank, and 175 pounds of me.

 

nice, im itching to get on the scales to see whats up, i removed all sound deadening and insulation this weekend to try and lighten thing up further

 

im guessin thats the bad news?

 

I didnt weight the front and the rear of my car but mine altogether with 170 pound me 1/2 a tank of gas and full interior but no jack/tools/spare tire weighs in at 3340 so about 400 pounds more than that one and mine is a V6 and I am sure that motor weighs alot more than the 4 cylinder so the 6th gen isnt too much heavier than the 5th gen which I am assuming he has.

so that's 2741 without you? Sounds about right for a 4th gen LX coupe.
