Default motor basics

well yeah im new to the racing scene and ive no clue about engine works..can u guys explain to me whats like b16,b18,h22 this and that where the engines come from(like h22 comes from prelude i think?) which is fastest out of the swaps available to the civics/sols etc etc.it would be a great help and sorry for the noob question dont mash on me please

same here, im a new to this stuff, and ive been hearing many things about these motor swaps, i own a stock del sol and ive been getting into performance, help with the basics would be nice

it all depends on how much your looking to spend or how much you can get hooked up with parts.......but the motor swap nowadays depends on what direction you want to go with i.e....b series, h series, k series, or even d series....people are now heading toward the k series but thats only if you have a deep pocket but if your looking for a simple build get a b16 from either a del sol or a si..for a milder build get a gsr or ls/vtec to build....but if you have the money get a b20/vtec build it for all motor or turbo.... it depends on what you are interested in


you can also go with gsr trubo or lsvtec turbo as well

Your best bet would be to use the search button and just read as much as possible. trust me. do not jump into any project with out having a complete knowledge of what your doing because you can get *** backwards in your funds, and have anything that can go wrong will. So search my friend.
