First and most important is suspension. Out of everything don't cheap this. Bigger sway bars also make a huge difference and good bang for the buck. Second since your into auto x and twisties your best bet would be to stay all motor. First intake, because the sound is worth the money alone in my opinion. Get a good header and a free flowing exhaust and go from their. I would also strongly recommend brake and tire upgrades because these will actually make the car much more fun to drive and help alot in auto x times of course.

If your autocrossing the car, the first thiong you need to do is decide a class. Then prep it accordingly to the rules for that class.
I run mine in STS, and have Konis, GC springs, a Comptech swaybar, and a CAI.

I see you live in cali like me so if smog concerns you I would go with the AEM CAI because of the carb sticker and the dc sports 4-1 is good because of the carb number but I believe the comptech header has a carb sticker as well and is probably higher quality and going to give more power gains. down side is cost but you get what you pay for. But like I said I would do suspension first cause it not only drastically changes performance in all areas but makes the car look kick ***.

Spend the money on autocrossing the car in stock class and practicing your driving.
Perhaps also look into tracking your car on a road course to hone your skills further.

okay first of all what have you already done to the car? i know you say stock, but some people say stock as in no engine upgrades. for autox you don't want a suspension that is too hard or too soft. i'd suggest a good set of springs, some people like the coil over set but personally i'd go with springs because they are intended for more specific use rather then being fully adjustable and for multipul use. no to mention tuning is alot easier too.

werd. good tires, shocks, springs, brake pads, steel braided lines, brake fluid flush/refill, bigger sway bars, rear strut tower bar.
also make sure your motor/gearbox is at least up to OEM snuff before autox'n.....(fluids, spark plugs, filters, belts, etc.)

Seriously though, depending on your mileage, you might want to get a good 21 point inspection, and get some routine maintenance taken care of while you've got the extra dough.

do suspension
i recommend some koni yellows and performance springs. depending on the drop you want.
id get springs, shocks, and a comptech tie bar and rear sway
bolt ons wont do nearly as much as suspension upgrades in your case
