Default 4.7 or 4.9 Final Drive for 91 Si D-series transmission

Ok guys, I've heard that SRR is no longer making these, and that they were poor quality at best anyways. Are there any other manufacturers that produce 4.7 or 4.9 final drive sets for the 88-91 Civic/CRX D-series transmission? If so, where can you buy them?

I just looked bro and I couldn't find it. Sorry. They were really cool, had stats and everything. they also had a whole bunch of close ratio gears.

Ok...so far I've found that ATS makes a 4.73 FD for $780 US for Civic/CRX. Are there any others out there?

Thanks for the info guys. However, MFactory does not make a Final Drive for our L3 cable transmissions. Their Final Drive's only fit 92+ d-series hydro transmissions.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1733782</TD></TR></TABLE> I'm looking at Kiwi if they can keep the price under 500 for a 4.7FD, or maybe talk them into a 4.5, it all depends if I can build a motor that can take more Revs to use the shorter gearing.

anyone know where i can get a 4.7 or 4.9 FD for cable d-series? KIWI seems to have dropped off the map.. the link in his sig doesnt even work. It seemed like Gear-x was going to supply a lot of new cable D FD's.. and like someone said, mfactory only makes d series FD for the hydro trans. sorry to bring this back from the dead, but its the most recent final drive discussion i could find.

http://www.kingmotorsports.com...at=33

King makes a gambit of FDs for many model cars. They even make a 6.33 fd for the K!

We have run several of the Gear X final drives with lots of success based on customer feedback. I was really impressed with them as well. These are German made and I hope to have details available shortly on materials used and processes taken in production. I cannot state any pricing as it is against all rules...my apologies.

whoa.. kingmotorsports 4.9, that is hot.. $800 is out of my price range at this point though.. im looking more in the $450-$550 range. but if i can't afford a reputable FD, ill just wait till i can.

Where did you get the Gear-X FD? or is it a vendor only kinda deal? do they have a website or anything?
