Value
Lets say I have 2 cars.. And I crashed and I fixed one.. with authentic parts.. (looks like new). and I want to sell them..
And both have like 5.000 miles..
Can I sell both for the same value, or does the "dealer" pay less for the fixed one?

The reason why I'm posting this, is because I crashed my car last friday(i'll post pics later), and it was pretty much damaged..
and I know that even if they fix it, never looks the same.. So I was thinking about getting some money and trading it.. But one friend told me that just because i got involved in an accident, they'll pay less for it..

but the damage on my car was pretty similar to this one..
the only diff is that i "flew" on rocks..
so I really dunno what happened underneath the car.. :D
lets see.. i'll call the ins comp tomorrow..
So how much do you guys think that i'll get for my car?
06 Si Fog Lights
Aero OEM Kit, etc etc, everything listed in my signature..

Is there a bigggg diff between the one that has been damaged? like 5.000 diff?

I have always heard that what ever the cost of the repair to fix the car, is usually about what would come off the value, save a couple like 20 or 30 percent.

Just curious but why do people automatically go into "Vulture" mode when someone has a wreck and go asking for every part possible? I'm sure if he is going to sell the parts he'll list them, usual question to ask someone after they are in a wreck are...."are you ok." "do you have insurance" not how much is this or how much is that. You all hear "wreck" and go and try to swoop in on the remains.
